As an Estate agent, my business involves taking clients to view properties; thus I was looking for a smart car, roomy enough for 4 adults, reliable …and should I have any issues, a dealer who would be able to assist me urgently. Without a reliable car, my business would suffer immensely.

I got in contact with Wieberen and he explained that his service included 2 years warranty, completion of all the paperwork, taxed, and ready to go. A few days later, Wieberen called to inform me that he not only had a car to meet my requirements, but was actually less than the budget I had set. I was informed the car would be ready for delivery in 2 weeks’ time, and was very surprised that he offered me a loan car in the interim without any cost…most impressive! Having took delivery of the car, it was just what I was looking for, and as he promised, was ready and legal to use from day one. During 3 years of ownership, the car had a couple of minor faults, which was dealt with at his first opportunity to assist…just as he promised.

If you are looking for a quality car with the excellent service I received, I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending Wieberen at About Cars. Wieberen runs his business in a very comparable manner….and has now become a very good friend, which is how I operate.

During 3 years of ownership, the car had a couple of minor faults, which was dealt with at his first opportunity to assist…just as he promised. If you are looking for a quality car with the excellent service I received, I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending Wieberen at About Cars.

When you take the decision to move to another country you really do need people to put you on the right path, but finding those people who are honest, reliable and trustworthy I can imagine could be hard, fortunately we were introduced to Wieberen from Aboutcars used car sales Fuerteventura. He has gone above and beyond to help in every way, finding us the right vehicle and explaining the legal requirements, which of course are different from what you are used to. Buying a used car in a foreign country can be quite a scary process. About Cars however, takes away all of the mystery and makes the process of car-buying very easy.
About Cars is an excellent and totally professional company. We received excellent advice from Wieberen regarding the most suitable car for our needs and he then found the perfect car for us. Wieberen then brought the car to Costa Calma from Puerto del Rosario so that we could inspect it and take a test drive. The car was exactly as he described it over the phone, low mileage and in excellent condition. Wieberen took care of all of the documentation required for change of ownership and advised us on the authorisation which we needed from the ayuntamiendo. About Cars works closely with Seinauto in Puerto del Rosario and they do all the servicing and repairs for them. Seinauto also are very friendly, speak excellent english and are thoroughly professional. About Cars have an excellent reputation and based on our experience they fully deserve it. We highly recommend Wieberen and will definitely consult About Cars again when we need to change our car.

Mid-October of this year (2013) we sold our property in France to move to Fuerteventura. Having sorted out a rental property, our next major purchase was a car. Not speaking the language and not understanding the procedures and necessary paperwork, I was not looking forward to this.
We found Aboutcars , and were impressed by the range of stock they had, and extremely pleased to read that they took care of all the paperwork. We read the testimonials, but to be honest were a bit sceptical that they may have been fabricated. Let me tell you, having completed the process, those testimonials are genuine. To say that Wieberen went the extra mile regarding customer service would be an understatement. We had a hiccup with our house sale in France which meant a delay in having the funds available for the car we had chosen. Wieberen picked us up from the airport and loaned us a courtesy car for a week. This was despite only being able to give him half the normal deposit needed to secure the car. We had to fly back to france a week later to conclude our house sale, and again on our return Wieberen was at the airport to meet us, complete with the car and all the documentation. He had even sorted out our car insurance. At a day when many businesses seem to have lost the concept of customer service and satisfaction, Aboutcars have it at the heart of their business. We are extremely well pleased with the car we purchased, and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Aboutcars to other customers.Thank you again, Wieberen.

We found the Aboutcars website on the internet before moving permanently from the UK to Fuerteventura in March 2014. On arriving we contacted Aboutcars and spoke to Wieberen. He arranged to meet us in Caleta De Fuste, saving us a journey. There we agreed to purchase a Seat Leon and also agreed the price.
Aboutcars arranged all the necessary paperwork for us (our Spanish is very limited). He also provided a loan car free of charge until our car was ready for delivery (having been MOT’d and fully serviced etc).
The car is a dream to drive. We would certainly go back to Aboutcars again.
