Mid-October of this year (2013) we sold our property in France to move to Fuerteventura. Having sorted out a rental property, our next major purchase was a car. Not speaking the language and not understanding the procedures and necessary paperwork, I was not looking forward to this.
We found Aboutcars , and were impressed by the range of stock they had, and extremely pleased to read that they took care of all the paperwork. We read the testimonials, but to be honest were a bit sceptical that they may have been fabricated. Let me tell you, having completed the process, those testimonials are genuine. To say that Wieberen went the extra mile regarding customer service would be an understatement. We had a hiccup with our house sale in France which meant a delay in having the funds available for the car we had chosen. Wieberen picked us up from the airport and loaned us a courtesy car for a week. This was despite only being able to give him half the normal deposit needed to secure the car. We had to fly back to france a week later to conclude our house sale, and again on our return Wieberen was at the airport to meet us, complete with the car and all the documentation. He had even sorted out our car insurance. At a day when many businesses seem to have lost the concept of customer service and satisfaction, Aboutcars have it at the heart of their business. We are extremely well pleased with the car we purchased, and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Aboutcars to other customers.Thank you again, Wieberen.

We found the Aboutcars website on the internet before moving permanently from the UK to Fuerteventura in March 2014. On arriving we contacted Aboutcars and spoke to Wieberen. He arranged to meet us in Caleta De Fuste, saving us a journey. There we agreed to purchase a Seat Leon and also agreed the price.
Aboutcars arranged all the necessary paperwork for us (our Spanish is very limited). He also provided a loan car free of charge until our car was ready for delivery (having been MOT’d and fully serviced etc).
The car is a dream to drive. We would certainly go back to Aboutcars again.
