Reputation, Communication, Quality & Service For us the reputation of this company was key to placing an order for a car only viewed on-line. Nowhere else would we have trusted any company online and over the phone without viewing a vehicle first.
Communication, information is king and any questions we had were answered promptly by phone and email, complete honesty and clarity meant that when they delivered our car to our home of 11 years, it was indeed as advertised and to be honest better than expected.
With a two-year warranty, first service included and all the documentation dealt with on our behalf and the assurance of we are just a phone call away the whole process was pleasurable experience, just as buying a car should be.
We therefore thank Wieberen and his team for a great vehicle, along with Andrew for a memorable car handover.

A month before moving to Fuerteventura, I contacted Aboutcars – highly recommended by friends – to discuss which type/brand car was needed for every day transport on the island.

And Wieberen/Andrew did not disappoint!
From first contact, selection of car, till final delivery, they kept me informed of progress, changes, paperwork requirement, insurance etc. All additional questions were quickly and correctly answered.

At the day of takeover I finally met Wieberen and Andrew (great guys). All paperwork was taken care of and ready, including insurance (and at a very good/low price) – all needed was a couple of signatures.

The car itself was in perfect condition, great value and a delight to drive.

"Having recently moved to the island as residents, we spent a long time in the past two months looking at both new and used cars and also visiting several dealers. As we have been coming to Fuerteventura for over 20 years, we had numerous local contacts and we asked them about buying a car.

We were told to beware of buying ex-rental cars and that we should look at ‘AboutCars’. We duly contacted Wieberen and Andrew to talk with them, and to look at a few vehicles. We were pleased with what they told us about their business ethics and service capability and a couple of hours later we left them a ‘wishful spec’ with how much we would like to spend.
Within a week Wieberen came back with a car that exactly matched our spec and was within budget. We bought a Kia Rio, which has proven to be exactly as described and required. AboutCars seems to pride itself on customer service, and they did all the transfer paperwork for us. On top the the manufacturer’s warranty they also added their own 10,000 km warranty.

Unlike some car dealers we have dealt with in the past in the UK, Wieberen and Andrew were precise and straight. We are therefore more than happy to ‘sing their praises’ and will be returning to them at sometime in the future for our next car.

When we saw the ad for the car on the webpage, we were not even on the island but still at home in Germany, nevertheless we reached out to AboutCars and asked for further details. Not only did they answer all our questions, they also managed the whole car registration process for us (including insurance etc.)
